Concealed Handgun License

NEXT CHL Class is Sunday, February 26th 2012- 9am

ANY persons who are lawfully entitled to OWN or Possess a firearm are eligible to attend

Participation for members of Texas Military Forces, Texas DPS and immediate family is FREE.

Participants should bring:

  • Paper and pen,
  • Eye protection,
  • Hearing protection,
  • Handgun (revolver or semi automatic) caliber .32 or up and at least 50 rounds of ammunition. (More ammo if you do not qualify the first time).
  • Base ball cap,
  • Proper footwear (no flip-flops),
  • No shorts,
  • Shirt with collar,

    • About the Instructor:

    TSgt Johan Stokman

    Johan began his shooting career when he joined the Dutch military (Special Forces), before that he had only seen guns in the movies. When he left to pursue a career in IT (software engineer) he was a 2nd lieutenant, motor transport officer and small arms instructor.
  • Over the years he has worked for several US computer manufacturers and became a US citizen.
  • He is currently a Technical Sergeant in the Air division of the Texas State Guard, a NRA certified Chief Range Safety Officer, a NRA certified instructor for Pistol, rifle and shotgun, as well as a Texas DPS certified CHL instructor.
